What is Swedish Massage?
This body massage concentrates on the back, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, hands and abdomen, promoting a sense of well-being and
calm. Major benefits include increased joint mobility, improved lymph drainage, an increase in blood circulation, a decrease blood pressure
and heart rate, improvement of skin elasticity, strengthening of the immune system, increase in lung capacity and stimulation of the digestive
system.

Sophie qualified in Holistic Therapies (Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Aromatherapy) and Anatomy &
Physiology under the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies (IIHHT) governing body.
She has also undergone intensive training in Hawaiian Kahuna Massage, Hopi Ear Candling and On-Site Acupressure Chair Massage.
Sophie has also completed her Reiki Level One and Two.
Sophie has a keen interest in fertility and pregnancy treatments and has trained in Maternity Aromatherapy, Fertility, Maternity &
Labour Reflexology and Acupressure in Pregnancy and Labour, and has successfully treated many women in Cambridge and surrounding area.
Sophie has been awarded Fellowship with the Federation of Holistic Therapists with whom she holds full insurance with, and is a member of the
Association of Therapy Lecturers.
Sophie has gained her City and Guilds teaching diploma, and will be hosting Massage and Reflexology evening classes and workshops in and
around Cambridge.
